This is an evergreen posting as we are continually building a pool of qualified drivers. Transportation needs may include:Morning routesAfternoon routesEvening transportation (athletics, activities, retreats)Occasional weekend eventsApplicants are encouraged to apply if they are available for one or more of the above schedules.Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely transport students to and from school and school-sponsored activitiesAdhere to assigned schedules and route plansConduct required pre- and post- trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain orderly conduct on the bus and ensure student safety at all timesComply with all state, federal, and local school transportation regulationsCommunicate effectively with school administration regarding route updates or concernsMaintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicleQualificationsNecessary Qualifications:Valid CDL LicenseRequirements:Must be 21 years of ageMust submit fingerprintsMust pass a background check as part of employmentPossession of a satisfactory driving recordPunctual and reliable attendancePhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periodsAbility to assist students in emergency evacuation situationsAbility to perform routine vehicle inspection
