Overview Sabey Construction is seeking a Construction Intern to gain hands‑on experience in the fast‑growing data center construction industry. The intern will support project managers and site supervisors with project coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and construction documentation while gaining exposure to cutting‑edge technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM). This is ideal for students pursuing construction management, civil engineering, real estate development, or a related field who are eager to learn and build a career in mission‑critical construction environments. Responsibilities Assist project managers and site supervisors with planning, coordination, and execution of critical facilities construction projects. Contribute to project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Assist in conducting inspections and assessments to identify and address potential issues. Participate in safety compliance activities and help maintain a safe work environment. Prepare progress reports and presentations. Gain exposure to technology integration such as BIM and other digital tools. Work on real‑world challenges and problem‑solving exercises within the critical facilities construction context. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Operate a computer and interface with technology. Remain stationary for extended periods of time. Interact with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners. Visit and safely navigate construction sites. Adhere to company information security policies and safeguard confidential data. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program in construction management, real estate development, civil engineering, or a related field. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Competencies Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment without compromising quality. Advanced knowledge of the English language – excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Detail‑oriented with strong focus on accuracy. Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and closely follow instructions. Willingness to learn and utilize AI tools and technology.
