Python Developer - TS/SCI w/Poly

To be considered for this position, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret/SCI Job OverviewProbity is seeking a Python Developer / Database Engineer to support a high-impact enterprise initiative focused on modernizing system security through automation, continuous monitoring, and data-driven processes. This role involves building scalable backend systems, developing database-driven applications, and supporting cloud-based architectures. As part of this opportunity, candidates will complete a 50-hour MongoDB training program provided by Probity at no cost, equipping them with hands-on NoSQL database expertise. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PythonBuild and manage database structures, queries, and data pipelinesDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservicesSupport cloud-based data storage, retrieval, and analysis workflowsCreate automated workflows to replace manual processesTroubleshoot and resolve system issues (break/fix, enhancements)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support full project lifecycleContribute to system architecture and database design decisions Required Qualifications:Strong experience with Python50-hour MongoDB training (provided by Probity at no additional cost)Experience with Django or Flask frameworksExperience developing REST APIsFamiliarity with microservices architecture Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud platformsFamiliarity with Docker / containerizationExperience with Swagger/OpenAPIProficiency with tools such as Git, Jira, and ConfluenceExperience with JSON/XML serializationFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies
