Lead Teller (Westlake)

This position is responsible for coaching, scheduling, and supervising all Tellers within a branch, in addition to providing a best in class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals.Position AccountabilitiesProvide excellent customer experiencePerform basic customer and cash transactionsBalance cash each dayIdentify referral opportunities to contribute to branch goalsAdhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and ProceduresIdentify risk and escalate concerns through proper channelsManage branch cash expectations including ATM servicingCoach and train all Tellers within the branch to meet goalsAssist Branch Manager with performance development of TellersAnalyze operating reports and coach less senior Teammates accordinglyDevelop and maintain knowledge of bank products, services, including other lines of businessOther duties as assignedOrganizational RelationshipThis position reports to the assigned leader of the branch.Position QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferredPrevious cash handling experience requiredTeller experience requiredPrevious customer service experience requiredCoaching experience preferredKnowledge & SkillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to exercise sound business judgmentProficient computer skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks with attention to detailsFlexible, able to adapt to changeShifts may vary for each position offering, depending on business needAble to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 30 poundsSalary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
