Physical Therapist | Arvin, California
Deliver expert physical therapy services in a dynamic acute inpatient hospital setting, focusing on patients recovering from a variety of medical and orthopedic conditions. This role involves comprehensive care for general medical and deconditioned patients, total knee and hip arthroplasty (TKA/THA), spinal surgeries, and stroke (CVA) rehabilitation in an acute inpatient environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled physical therapy treatments to approximately 12 patients daily, addressing complex needs in medical/surgical units, ICU, and ER.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Participate in department-specific orientation to ensure seamless integration and familiarity with hospital systems.Qualifications and Experience:Valid California Physical Therapist license.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Proven acute inpatient physical therapy experience is essential.Ability to manage a caseload that includes medical/surgical, ICU, and ER patient care.Schedule and Work Environment:Primarily 8:00 am to 4:30 pm shifts.One shift per week from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.Weekend coverage required every third weekend, with compensatory days off on preceding Friday and following Monday.No holiday duty.Professional dress code includes burgundy polo with scrub or khaki bottoms.Location Overview: Arvin, CA, offers a welcoming community with access to a range of local amenities and a pleasant climate.
