We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing public accounting team in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA or experienced audit professional who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engagements, and mentoring staff while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm.
What You'll Do
-Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
-Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients
-Review financial statements and audit workpapers for accuracy and compliance with professional standards
-Identify accounting and financial reporting issues and provide practical solutions
-Supervise, coach, and develop associates and senior-level team members
-Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and client expectations
-Build and maintain strong client relationships
-Assist with business development and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships
-Stay current on accounting, auditing, and industry developments
What We're Looking For
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-CPA license preferred
-5+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience
-Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
-Experience managing multiple engagements and client relationships
-Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
-Ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality client service
