Sales Rep - Central Texas
Position: Sales Representative - Food Manufacturing
Classification: Salaried (Exempt)
Location: Remote role covering the Central Texas region
Pay & Benefits
Base Pay: $50,000 per year, plus incentive earnings
Payroll Frequency: Every two weeks
Workdays: Wednesday through Sunday
Incentives: Performance-based commission (approximately 10%)
Reimbursements: Mileage compensation and approved travel/demo costs covered
Key Duties
Drive revenue growth across the Central Texas market through proactive sales efforts
Establish and nurture relationships with retail partners, including store leadership and purchasing contacts
Organize and lead in-store sampling events and promotional campaigns
Maintain visual standards by managing displays and product positioning
Seek out new retail opportunities to broaden product reach
Keep track of stock levels and coordinate replenishment when needed
Analyze sales trends and provide regular updates on territory performance
Collaborate with external distribution partners to support product visibility and sales focus within their accounts
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in consumer goods sales, retail, or account management (strong preference for food manufacturing experience).
Background in field sales, merchandising, or food and beverage industry is advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Able to work independently and manage a designated territory effectively
Availability to work a Wednesday-Sunday schedule
Must hold a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation
Willingness to travel throughout the Central Texas area
Physical Expectations
Capable of standing for long periods (up to 6 hours during events)
Able to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs (such as product samples and display materials)
Comfortable working with food items and following applicable health and safety regulations
