This role focuses on analyzing large-scale transactional data, improving payment visibility, and partnering cross-functionally to drive informed decision-making.This position is ideal for an analyst who thrives in high-volume data environments and can translate complex payment flows into clear business insights that support Finance, Product, Engineering, and Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Payment AnalyticsAnalyze large, high-volume transactional datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunitiesDevelop reporting on key payments KPIs including processing volumes, margin analysis, pricing economics, customer penetration, and processing costsConduct root cause analysis on anomalies and emerging trendsProvide data-backed recommendations to improve payment performance and transparencyReporting & Data GovernanceBuild and maintain dashboards and recurring executive-level reportingEnsure consistency and integrity of payment data across systemsPartner with Data Engineers and Architects to define data models, tracking requirements, and metric definitionsSupport financial reconciliation and cost analysis initiativesCross-Functional PartnershipTranslate business needs into data and reporting requirementsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure accurate data capture and instrumentationSupport new payment initiatives from a reporting and analytics readiness perspectiveCommunicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications5-7 years of experience in business or data analysis, preferably in payments, fintech, SaaS, or e-commerceStrong experience working with large transactional datasets; Payments preferredExperience partnering with Data Engineering and Architecture teamsStrong knowledge of database environments; Redshift and SQL skills preferredExperience building dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsWhat Success Looks LikeClear, trusted payment reporting used across Finance, Product, and OperationsImproved visibility into payment performance and cost driversActionable insights that influence product and operational decisionsStandardized, well-defined payment metrics and data governance practicesCCPA Disclosure Notice: Click Here
