A global technology provider is seeking a Database Administrator to join their team working on critical federal programs. This organisation excels in delivering innovative solutions and services to government clients, ensuring robust and secure operational environments.The Role Administer, maintain, and secure Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database environments. Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance, including tuning and routine maintenance. Manage database access, permissions, and ensure compliance with security requirements. Automate routine administrative tasks and improve operational reliability. Troubleshoot database-related technical issues and incidents. Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architectures, configurations, and processes.What You'll Need Minimum of 5 years of experience administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. Proven experience with database maintenance, performance tuning, backup, restoration, and recovery. Expertise in administering database users, roles, permissions, and access controls. Strong troubleshooting skills for production database environments. Experience with database updates, patches, upgrades, migrations, and testing.
