You'll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers whowill look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and theright tools to get the job done.What You'll Do Assists in providing guidance to small groups of two to three engineers, includingoffshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents,directions, examples, and timeline. Provides support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues(for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); researching andidentifying needed solutions; determining implementation designs; providing guidanceregarding implications of new and enhanced systems; identifying short and long termsolutions; and directing users to appropriate contacts for issues outside of associate'sdomain. Manages small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements;translating requirements into technical solutions; researching and identifying alternativesolutions; determining needed solution based on return on investment and value add tothe business; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, productrequirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing;communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating withproject team and cross functional teams; identifying areas of opportunity; interpretinginformation and identifying a solution; ensuring solution is sustainable acrossimplementation and use; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; and ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example,issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); performing root cause analysis to reducefuture issues; engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; developingsolutions; driving the development of an action plan; performing actions as designatedin the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; and completing onlinedocumentation. Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium-sized projects to come up withhigh level design by partnering with the product management, project management,business, and user experience teams. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, andimprovement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in theapplication of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meetcustomer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by buildingrelationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs;determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progressand results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting tocompeting demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports companymission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into thedevelopment and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; anddemonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing businessprocesses and practicesWhat You'll Bring Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, improvement,and release of the client iOS App. Participates in peer code reviews and contributes effectively within an agile setup withdesigners, product managers, and peer developers. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions. Provides mobile engineering support to the business. Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile devices. Experience with mobile software development using Swift & Objective-C. Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github) Experience working within an agile development team Experience with Apple SDKs for iOS development Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools) Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memoryanalyzers tools (Instruments) Experience with embedded real time systems with limited resources (memory andprocessing) Experience with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration Experience in design patterns, MVVM MVC, data structures and algorithms. Experience in unit and integration testing using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine and Objective-Ccode. Published iOS application is required.
