Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Job Title: Materials Handler Pay Rate: $19 to $20/Hr Duration: 7 months Location: Wendell, NC Shift: 2nd Shift - 3 PM to 11:30 PM Eastern time (1st shift during first 3 weeks training) Responsibilities: As a Material Handler, you will perform the necessary movement of materials: receiving, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory of all items including transport of materials to production areas. You may be required to document and record the receipt and delivery of all materials and products using SAP. A driver’s license is necessary to operate a fork truck in the shipping department. Individuals cannot be afraid of heights- they could have to go up on equipment 20+ ft Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles Inspects moving equipment daily Counts and verifies counts for incoming material within the storeroom Pick materials for inside and outside customers using RF Scanners with count accuracy Performs cycle counts daily of materials in the storeroom Packs and ships materials efficiently and damage-free for shipment to our customers Loads materials for outgoing shipments and makes sure that proper documentation is being provided to drivers Efficient with small hand tools, battery, electrical, & air power tools Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Skills 1 + years experience in material management (warehousing) 1+ years’ experience driving a forklift Experience with SAP system Experience with RF Scanner devices Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): Please share an alternate email Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required) SAP: 1 year (Required) Forklift: 1 year (Required) RF scanner: 1 year (Required) Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Wendell, NC (Required) Work Location: In person
