Position Type:Student Support Services/Technology SupportDate Posted:4/16/2026Location:Ellicottville CSDDate Available:07/01/2026Closing Date:05/01/2026District Technology Facilitator Job DescriptionAct as district technology integrator to accomplish the following:• Work collaboratively with the Director of Technology (DOT), and Information Technology Specialist (ITS) to support teachers in their use of technology in all circular areas.• Teach students to use data and information to think critically, solve problems, and evaluate.• Work collaboratively with the Director of Technology, and Information Technology Specialist to communicate with the staff about training, equipment, software, technological curriculum materials, instructional videos, and technology resources.• Participate in professional development activities scheduled specifically for technology integrators. (i.e. TCIF regional meetings)Provide student and staff assistance:• Help students and staff to use new and existing software and hardware when requested• Troubleshoot when possible• Manage password resets for various programsMaintain Technology Equipment:• Work with ITS to interface new equipment with existing equipment• Distribute new equipment as decided by the DOT and ITS• Work with ECS staff and technology committee on technology needs for the district• Work with ITS to Install and maintain software on PC and Mac hard drives• Ensure proper licensing of software purchased by the district• Maintain current inventory of equipment (including location, serial numbers, etc.)• Ensure compliance with Ed Law 2DManage Local Area Network• Work with ITS to enter student and staff user information and set-up personal folders for each user• Work with ITS to maintain security of network by assigning passwords and rights• Set up specific classes and assign appropriate students to each class
