Bus Driver (Anticipated Vacancy 2025-2026)

All School Bus Drivers will be initially hired on as Substitute School Bus Drivers and must complete all required driver training and testing through the Paulding County School District Transportation Department. Upon successful completion of the training and testing, candidates will be eligible to work as a Substitute School Bus Driver in the Transportation Department. They will also become eligible to transition to the position of Bus Driver as those positions become available, at the discretion of the Transportation Department. Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma or GED Valid Georgia Driver's License and a Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to qualify for a Georgia CDL of appropriate class with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsement Must hold or be eligible for a valid CPR/ First Aid card Must be able to pass state required drug screening Must pass annual physical examination Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the Board may find ...Bus Driver, Driver, Transportation, Commercial Driver, Education
