Low to Mid-Level Technicians

The Technician is primarily responsible for installing and servicing commercial security products including intrusion, access control, and video, and fire systems.Position Responsibilities:Install and service commercial security devices/systems including intrusion, access control, video, and fireComplete final system testing upon completion of installation or serviceInterpret scopes of work and blueprintsAbide by building code standards and company safety standardsIdentify and prepare pathways and supports for new cabling system installationsPull copper and coaxial cable in backbone, horizontal and riser environmentsExhibit professional appearance and conductCommunicate with Service Coordinators, Technicians, Project Mangers, Field Managers and other co-workers as required regarding project or call statusProvide exceptional customer serviceParticipate in on-call scheduleEssential Skills and Experience:Ability to read blueprintsKnowledge of electronics and excellent troubleshooting skills; ability to program a plusStrong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsTechnical degree in electronics or equivalent work experienceExperience performing installation duties in commercial security or related industriesValid driver's license with clear driving recordAbility to drive to and from work office and work sites
