Summary: A Mammography Technologist performs specialized radiologic procedures focused on breast imaging to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease. This role requires technical expertise, patient-centered care, and strict adherence to radiation safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: ⁠Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders. Position patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate digital mammography and 3D tomosynthesis equipment. Ensure patient comfort while maintaining image quality. Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
