For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.This position offers a strong path for career advancement, with the idea to manage the maintenance department in the future.DUTIESPerform advanced troubleshooting and repair on flexographic presses, converting equipment, and facility systems.Maintain and repair electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration components.Conduct PLC troubleshooting, reprogramming, basic program edits, and work with programmable logic controllers and similar control systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.Lead or support supervision of maintenance staff, including task assignment, instruction, and coordination of work.Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and documentation requirements.Assist with machine installations, equipment upgrades, and optimization projects.Apply root cause analysis techniques to resolve recurring equipment issues.Maintain CMMS records, parts usage, and maintenance logs.Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve machine downtime and support continuous improvement.Ensure all work complies with safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company policies.Qualifications3+ years of experience as an industrial Maintenance Technician (journeyman-level preferred).Flexographic press experience (Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Comco, Instaprep, etc.) preferred.Experience with web handling, tension controls, and registration systems preferred.Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration.Demonstrated PLC troubleshooting and programming/editing experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).Ability to lead, train, or guide less experienced technicians.In‑depth knowledge across multiple trades and familiarity with complex mechanical and electrical systems.Ability to troubleshoot using schematics, diagrams, and manuals.Experience in printing, packaging, converting, or related manufacturing environments a plus. xaygatp Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.BENEFITSMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityCompany Paid Life/AD&D Insurance401(K) with Company MatchQuarterly Production Bonus ProgramPaid Time OffEmployee Assistance ProgramEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERIt is the policy of KDV Label to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all candidates and employees regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, ancestry, disability, race, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.Job Category: ProductionJob Shift: First ShiftJob Location: Waukesha-WI
