Job Summary The Male Specimen Collector/Technician plays a pivotal role in providing a safe working environment for employers and the public. The Specimen Collector is responsible for collecting biological specimens (urine, saliva, or hair) in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires precision, professionalism, excellent customer service, problem solving and a commitment to confidentiality, as well as the ability to interact with a diverse population in various environments. This role involves the observation of same-sex individuals during urine drug screening procedures occasionally to ensure compliance with testing protocols and maintain integrity of the specimen collection process. Responsibilities · Conduct specimen collection following strict protocols to ensure sample integrity and accuracy. · Verify donor identification, complete necessary documentation, and label samples to maintain chain-of-custody. · Utilize strong communication skills to explain the collection process and answer donor questions effectively and compassionately. · Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following OSHA and ADA standards. · Conduct routine checks and maintenance of collection equipment and supplies. · Collaborate with team members to support sample transport, scheduling, and documentation needs. · Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcomed regardless of their background, ethnicity or language spoken. · Responsible for communicating with the Assurance Screening CEO immediately regarding any event that a donor does not follow their instructions, enters the facility after being asked not to do so, or any other issue outside normal procedures, processes and operations. · Other duties as assigned We are willing to train!
