As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and recovery processes for a diverse patient population, utilizing the latest best practices and clinical guidelines.Schedule and Requirements: Contract role, 13-week duration Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid Candidates must not have previously worked at the facility The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract Desired Qualifications: Active, unencumbered RN license (candidates with licensure or background hits not eligible) Current BLS certification required Demonstrated competency in restraint application, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, and care for patients in restraint/seclusion environments (agency validation required) Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred Willingness and ability to act as Charge Nurse if needed Experience in administering IV medications, IV therapy, and blood products following institutional protocols Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive care in all areas of the post-surgical unit Accurately assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay Engage patients and caregivers in creating and modifying individualized care plans Safely administer IV therapies and blood components per clinical standards Oversee and mentor team members, fulfilling Charge Nurse duties as assigned Take the next step in your nursing journey by collaborating with fellow professionals committed to exceptional patient care.
