In this role, you will lead the electrical and industrial control system designs for cutting-edge packaged generator sets, biogas digesters, and renewable natural gas (RNG) upgrading systems. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Bring Concepts to Life: Create, refine, and update critical design drawings, including electrical one-lines, three-lines, control diagrams, and panel layouts.
Program & Integrate: Develop precise IO lists to seamlessly connect advanced devices to PLC inputs and outputs.
Build the Blueprint: Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components and prepare accurate cost estimates for systems and designs.
Document Excellence: Author comprehensive operations manuals, technical proposals, and design documentation.
Prioritize Safety & Compliance: Implement robust safety features (grounding systems, overcurrent protection, and electrical isolation procedures) while ensuring all designs strictly comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
Collaborate & Communicate: Translate mechanical and electrical drawings into cohesive designs, and serve as a clear, professional technical communicator for contractors and customers alike.
What We’re Looking For
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
Experience: Ideally 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience, with a background in power generation, industrial systems, or renewable energy applications.
Technical Expertise: Proven experience designing Industrial Control Panels with UL508A compliance.
Tools of the Trade: Strong familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan.

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
