Shipping and Receiving Clerk

divh2Shipping Receiving Clerk/h2pThe Shipping Receiving Clerk will keep records of all goods shipped and received. They are also responsible for maintaining records, preparing shipments, sorting packages, and accepting deliveries./ppEssential Job Functions:/pulliResponsible for the shipping and receiving function which includes maintaining records by entering all received shipments into system/liliPrepare shipments, sort packages, and accept deliveries. This includes unloading freight/liliSchedule freight pickups and deliveries. Ensure competitive shipping rates on all pickups/liliResolve customer shipping complaints/liliFulfill sales orders by picking parts, packaging, labeling and shipping required parts/liliWork with other departments to ensure efficiency and timeliness of shipping and receiving function/liliResponsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly/liliAdhere and comply with state and federal law, the ISO Quality program, and the safety program/liliWilling to flex between departments within company/liliAdditional duties and tasks as assigned/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliAt least 6-12 months of relevant shipping and receiving experience/liliCommunication skills both written and verbal/liliAptitude with computer programs/liliProblem-solving skills/liliOrganization and time-management skills/liliAbility to work interdependently/liliResourcefulness and attention to detail/liliAbility to work overtime if required/liliThis job requires sitting, standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and stretching/liliAbility to lift and/or move up to 60lbs./li/ulpCompensation Information:/ppThis compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role.
