Building Maintenance Technician

You'll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. If you're looking for a job at a fast-growing company that really values its employees, reach out to us today!Responsibilities:Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risksExamine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when neededPerform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairsTake additional maintenance requests as assignedMake records of when any equipment was services and repairs were madePerforms a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electricalEnsures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on scheduleDemonstrates superior customer serviceAbility to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is neededLoading and unloading building materials and toolsBeing compliant with all health and safety regulationsFollowing instructions and completing work orders onlineQualifications:Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemsAdvanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniquesHas high school diploma, GED, or equivalentOver 2 years of maintenance experienceNeeds to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferredSkilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electricalAbility to work independently and with other team membersAbility to diagnose and resolve maintenance issuesDesire to provide excellent customer serviceA sense of pride in your workAbility to communicate well with peopleClean driving record and valid driver's licensePhysical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objectsPart of the on-call rotationMust have own toolsAbout Company:Come join Maine's fastest-growing real estate management firm.
