Your work will directly protect troops, allies, and critical infrastructure worldwide.THE WORKLockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location.This is a MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.The Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Infrastructure Team is seeking a Network Engineer to design, build, and sustain the ground‑station platform that supports both SBIRS and the Next‑Gen GEO OPIR ground stations. In this role you will work closely with software, security, and mission engineers to deliver ultra‑reliable, secure, and scalable ground‑systems that enable continuous infrared surveillance and missile‑warning capabilities for legacy and next‑generation satellite constellations.As Network Engineer You Will Design and plan network communications systems. Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conduct testing of network design.
