Who We’re Looking For: As our Wordpress Developer, you’ll design and build modern and exceptional sites for a variety of industries. You’ll work closely with all departments and aspire to lead a small team. Bring your best customer service to teammates and clients alike; be sales minded; meet deadlines; be flexible to change and ready to adapt; and tech savvy come ready to problem-solve. Responsibilities include: - Build WordPress websites using current web programming languages and web authoring tools - Perform front end and back end design, development, as well as use advanced programming techniques - Provide support in all phases of development and ongoing maintenance of website - Able to multitask between different clients and projects any given week - Create, code, test, and deliver web-based applications - Responsible for ensuring site functionality across multiple browser types - Utilize editor tools within multiple browser platforms - Perform maintenance on email programs and configuration updates on sites and servers - Collaborate to develop and design documents, create process plans, implement marketing structural plans and perform other web-related programming tasks to ensure the successful delivery of web programs and initiatives - Work in a professional office setting for 8 hours daily Skills Required Proficiency in WordPress is a must Familiarity with HTML and CSS Must be based locally (No telecommuting or contract jobs) Fluent in English language A keen eye for grammar with all written communication and copy Highly organized Excellent time management Punctuality for work time Experience with SEO and site analytics Take pride in your work Love to learn, teach others, and perfect your craft Preferred Experience: Related job experience/degree type Experience with popular site-building tools (Astra, Beaver Builder, Bricks, etc...) Experience with popular design tools (Adobe CC, Figma, Canva, etc...)
