We are seeking a highly skilled Azure API Technical Specialist Lead for an onsite role based in Schaumburg, Illinois. This is a contract position for an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.The selected candidate will play a key role in architecting, designing, and delivering scalable API solutions using Azure technologies. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to align solutions with client requirements and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities:Architect, design, and develop API solutions using Azure API Management and related servicesServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure API technologies, providing guidance to teams and stakeholdersLead and mentor development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality deliveryCollaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutionsReview deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and project objectivesDrive continuous improvement by exploring new Azure technologies and implementing industry best practicesRequired Skills:Expertise in Azure API Management (APIM)Strong experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)Solid understanding of REST APIs and JavaExperience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, along with Git or SVNKnowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Dynatrace monitoring, and SQLExcellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with agentic AI orchestration patternsExposure to cross-functional enterprise environments (Finance IT, Data & Analytics, etc.)Basic knowledge of Angular or UI technologiesFamiliarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
