Welcome to Hytrol CareersOverviewWe are looking for an accomplished Operations Manager to lead our Fabrication, Roller Cell, and Maintenance departments. In this role, you will be at the helm of production management, maintenance leadership, and team development, driving continuous improvement initiatives across all departments. With your expertise in both automated and manual metal fabrication, you will ensure seamless production scheduling and the successful management of capital projects. This position is perfect for a seasoned leader in manufacturing who is ready to make a significant impact and elevate our operations to new heights.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of metal fabrication, including automation and manual processesEnsure efficient operation of fabrication equipment, including fiber optical lasers, brake presses, welding systems, panel benders, metal forming equipment, shears, and band sawsManage the roller cell operations, including material flow and leadershipDevelop and optimize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of productsDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programsUtilize CMMS to manage maintenance work order lifecycle and backlog of planned maintenance workEnsure all equipment is maintained in optimal condition to maximize productivity and minimize downtimeLead, mentor, and develop teams and leaders within the departmentsFoster a culture of continuous improvement and systematic problem-solvingApply lean manufacturing principles to drive operational excellenceIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteDevelop production schedules and calculate the capacity of the fabrication and roller cell areasMonitor and adjust schedules to meet production demands, optimize resource utilization, and work collaboratively with scheduling to develop plans and schedules to serve our customersContribute to or lead capital projects related to fabrication and maintenanceImplement automation solutions to enhance fabrication processes. QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing settingProven experience with metal fabrication, both automated and manualStrong background in maintenance leadership, including developing preventive and predictive maintenance programsExperience with CMMS and managing the maintenance work order lifecycle.Demonstrated experience in team and leadership developmentProven history with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturingExperience developing production schedules and calculating area capacityExperience in capital project management and implementation of fabrication automation solutionsCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or project management is a plusEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fieldThank you for visiting our careers page.
