Title: Sr. Program Manager - Digital Transformation Location: RemoteDuration: 12+ Months (Contract/Possible Extension)Shift: Monday – Friday 1st ShiftPayrate: $65 to $72/hr on W2 (depending on experience)Note: Quarterly travel required for PI Planning (Washington, D.C. or Wilmington, DE)Job Description:Sr. Program ManagerRequiredThis role plays a pivotal part in driving DT workstreams in support of Amtrak’s enterprise-wide restructuring efforts.You will work directly with DT and business partners to support the implementation of restructuring changes across technology portfolios and systemsYou will operate at the center of a fast moving, high visibility transformation, blending hands on coordination with strategic insight to distill information, surface cross portfolio impacts, and ensure alignment with enterprise level restructuring workstreamsSuccess in this role requires a strong understanding of corporate systems and asset-related processes, ideally within SAP environments across Finance, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management, combined with the operational rigor, executive communication skills, and persistence needed to drive outcomes across diverse teams while de risking early and managing complex dependenciesResponsibilitiesCross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with business and DT stakeholders, including Engineering, Digital Product Management & Experience Design, Architecture, and Agility Enablement to coordinate work, align on priorities, maintain integrated plans, and ensure cohesive, value driven delivery that supports a successful restructuring and seamless transition for customers and frontline employeesCross Portfolio Impact Management: Surface cross portfolio impacts and escalate risks, blockers, and decision needs to leadership with clarity and urgency to maintain alignment and momentum across restructuring workstreamsExecution Governance: Enable predictable execution by establishing operating cadences, governance routines, and transparent reporting mechanisms that support consistent delivery across product and project teamsIntegrated Schedule Execution: Build and manage the master schedule end to end, creating integrated program views that clarify dependencies, translate between enterprise priorities and technology delivery, and apply agile and product led principles to drive coordinated execution across restructuring workstreams. Master scheduler background or deep scheduling expertise desiredOrganizational Change Support: Align teams, communicate changes, and help stakeholders adapt to new processes and structures to ensure organizational readiness throughout the restructuring effortCompliance and Transition Readiness: Ensure compliance and operational readiness during transitions involving systems, data, processes, or regulatory requirements to support a seamless and successful restructuringMetrics and Analysis: Define and track success metrics to measure the value and identify areas for improvement or pivotsLeadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical deliveryOther SkillsAbility to prioritize and make data-driven decisionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExpert user of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, proficient with AI tools, and experienced with Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, and Jira AlignBachelor’s degree or equivalent applied experienceRequired: 11-15 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated experience with agile methodologies, with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience preferred
