LIMS Transformation & Change ManagerIndustry: Life Sciences | Pharmaceuticals | BiotechnologyLocation: Europe Employment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a LIMS Transformation & Change Manager to support and deliver Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) initiatives within a regulated Life Sciences environment.This role focuses on the planning, coordination, and organizational aspects of LIMS programmes, ensuring effective delivery, strong change adoption, and alignment between laboratory users, quality teams, and IT partners. The position is well‑suited to someone with strong project management and change management skills and hands‑on experience working in regulated laboratory settings.Key ResponsibilitiesLIMS Programme Support & Delivery (Primary Focus)Coordinate and support LIMS implementation, upgrade, or harmonisation initiatives across one or more laboratory environments.Support project planning activities including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource coordination.Act as a central point of coordination between laboratory, quality, business, and IT teams.Track progress, risks, actions, and decisions to support successful and timely delivery.Change Management & AdoptionSupport change management activities to ensure effective adoption of LIMS by laboratory users.Coordinate training planning, user readiness, and go‑live preparation activities.Support development and maintenance of user documentation, SOPs, and change communications.Laboratory Process & ComplianceAssist in mapping and improving laboratory processes as part of LIMS implementation or optimisation.Ensure LIMS changes align with GxP, data integrity, and quality requirements.Support validation, documentation, and audit‑readiness activities in collaboration with Quality teams.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementWork closely with laboratory operations, QA, IT, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working sessions.Provide clear and structured status updates to project and laboratory leadership.Experience & QualificationsExperienceExperience working with LIMS systems in a Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or MedTech environment.Experience supporting LIMS implementation, upgrade, or optimisation projects is strongly preferred.Familiarity with laboratory operations and regulated (GxP) environments.EducationBachelor’s degree in science, engineering, IT, or a related discipline.Formal project management or change management training is an advantage, but not essential.Key SkillsStrong organisational and coordination skillsProject management support (planning, tracking, reporting)Change management and user adoption supportStakeholder communication and facilitationLaboratory process understandingDocumentation and compliance mindsetPersonal AttributesHighly organised, structured, and detail‑focusedComfortable coordinating across teams rather than owning strategyClear communicator with a collaborative approachPractical, delivery‑oriented, and reliableConfident working in regulated laboratory environments
