Electronics Quality Engineer

Your TasksPerform audits (Technical and Process) of suppliers per required industry standards and create required reportsSupport customer audits on-site at Brose production locationsPerform basic warranty analysis on electronics modules and motors and create reportsCreate warranty analysis reports and problem solving documents such as 8D, 5D, fishbone, etc…Define PPAP requirements for suppliers and ensure proper PPAP submission by supplierWork with customer to define PPAP requirements and create and submit PPAP to customer per customer requirementsAttend and contribute to project team meetings for all electronics and motors quality related itemsActively drive and control the APQP process for the projects within the scope of the roleLead quality gate activities for electronics and motor related products including conducting supplier quality gatesCreate prototype control plans and ensure quality of prototype partsYour ProfileAdvanced knowledge in APQP, PPAP, PSW, TS16949, etc…..(all of the automotive standard Quality requirements)Electronic Module production knowledge / exposure needed (doesn’t need to be an expert but must be knowledgeable about the processes)Has a solid understanding of physics of moving systems (not a designer but should understand the interactions between motor, electronics, and mechanics in a mechatronic system)Semiconductor process knowledge a plusSupplier Auditor experience is a plusSpanish a big plus (to support Mexico suppliers and Brose plants)VDA certification a plusTravel up to 50% (US, Mexico, Germany) requiredWe offer you a modern working environment with our Brose working worldBrose offers a high-tech work environment and a wide range of benefits.
