Full-Time Optometrist Opportunity - FYidoctors Canoga Park, LA.FYidoctors is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing clinic, backfilling for a long-standing OD who will be retiring in April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, well-established practice with an existing patient base, strong team support, and the potential to grow into a future leadership role within the clinic.Our clinic became part of the FYidoctors network in May 2022 and has continued to grow steadily. We currently have 2 Optometrists and 5 support staff, with dedicated roles across dispensing and front-of-house. The incoming OD will work Tuesday through Saturday, have their own exam lane (with access to multiple lanes when needed), and can expect to see 14-16 patients per day.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessmentsDiagnose and manage ocular conditions, including contact lenses and some low vision careProvide prescriptions and treatment plans while collaborating effectively with staffMaintain accurate patient records in our electronic health systemDeliver care to a varied patient base, including a strong Medicaid populationQualificationsDoctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institutionActive California Optometry License (Medicaid credentialing preferred)1-2+ years of clinical experienceAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentSpanish language skills helpful, but not required Schedule & CompensationFull-time, Tuesday through Saturday14-16 patients per dayCompetitive compensation starting at $500/day + production bonusClear path to future leadership opportunities within the clinicHow to ApplyInterested candidates should apply online and email their resume to iain.malone@fyidoctors.com.
