DME Coordination Specialist

Responsibilities:DME items, with high volume for oxygen, PAP devices, hospital beds and support surfacesReview qualifying documentation and testing for the above productsCreate and send orders/CMN/SMNs to providers for signatureWork aging accounts daily to insure appropriate documentation is complete in order to submit to payers for timely reimbursementWritten and verbal skills to ensure accurate communication with commercial and government for all DME equipment, follow HIPAA guidelines, Medicare ACA guidelines, Medicare ADR audits, CERT audits and any other regulatory requirements for obtaining qualifying supporting documentation to send for reimbursementVerify prior authorizations requirements are met for DME products according to payer guidelines and complete necessary adjustments when requiredEducation:High School Diploma/GED requiredQualifications/Skills :Required Skills:Previous DME experienceOutlook, Word and Excel knowledgeBasic medical terminology and familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 codingStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrioritization and customer services skillsAbility to work on team and individuallyConflict resolution and problem solving skillsStrong organization abilitiesPreferred Skills:Medical accounts receivable business office experienceEPIC/Excellian, TIMS, Onbase, & Rightfax experienceWork Schedule - Additional Position Details:Monday - Friday7am-3:30pmLicense/Certificate Required :No
