The ideal candidate possesses the ability to articulate complex technical issues to diverse audiences and collaborates effectively within a team.Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in the state of Ohio. Remote applicants outside of Ohio will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesRapidly diagnose and resolve client issues, or escalate them to senior technicians when necessarySupport senior-level IT staff in various tasksProvide technical assistance and support for inquiries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardwareRespond promptly and professionally to support tickets, emails, and phone calls, addressing or escalating issues as requiredInstall, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and other peripheralsAccurately document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing systemCollaborate with IT colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructureAssist in the deployment and upgrade of software and hardwareEducate end-users in basic IT functions and best practicesConduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups and software updatesQualifications And SkillsFundamental understanding of Windows ServerExperience with remote access technologiesKnowledge of antivirus software and basic Windows networkingStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferredProven experience as a HelpDesk Technician or in a similar roleProficiency in Windows operating systemsCompetency in computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshootingAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plusStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail in documenting technical issues and solutionsAbility to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasksCultural Fit: We are a family-owned business that values accountability, professionalism, and individual growth.
