Claims Handler, Tech E&O and Media Liability

Job DescriptionWestfield Specialty Insurance is seeking a talented and motivated claims professional to join our team. In this role, you will proactively investigate and manage a portfolio of primary and excess Technology Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Media Liability claims, delivering exceptional service and driving effective outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve a portfolio of primary and excess technology E&O and media liability claims from inception through resolution.Handle additional claim types as needed, including first-party cyber and third-party privacy and network security liability claims.Deliver exceptional customer service through clear, timely, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate closely with underwriters, actuaries, brokers, insureds, defense counsel, and senior management to ensure effective claim handling and alignment with business objectives.Represent the company in mediations and settlement conferences, leveraging strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Identify, analyze, and communicate emerging industry trends and claim developments to support strategic decision-making.Ensure full compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and Unfair Claims Practices Acts.Qualifications3–5 years of claims handling experience in Technology E&O and Media Liability, or relevant legal experience.
