If the value is there, the role can be expanded to full-time (40 hours plus) in very short order. Please review our website and LinkedIn profiles and learn about us before you apply.Required Duties of the RoleHelp the owner stay organized, stay on top of what is important, and dispense with the rest.Monitor, sort, sift, and summarize emails; once trusted, respond to basic requests that would align with the calendar and the owner's established schedule.Take calls and capture the information needed from incoming phone calls and voicemail.Create and maintain the calendar.Record business expenses in QuickBooks.Review and edit documents.Take direction to create select documents.Maintain shared drive platforms for the owner and the Revival team.Attend team meetings and take notes on the owner's behalf when the owner cannot do so personally.Assist owner in maintaining basic schedules and tasks in ASANA project management platform.Periodically deliver tasks, follow up with team leaders and specialists to ensure work is getting done, and detect when things are not going according to plan or direction.Be a sounding board for issues and challenges.Possibly accompany the owner on the road to trade shows.Required Skills and TraitsThe owner is seeking an adult with business sense, not just somebody who can answer the phone, take notes, and give the owner more work to do.Computer savvy.Expert in MS Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. We will need to help with the conversion from Google products to MS 365 for the company.Understand every point in the Required Duties above.Self-directed as well take direction. I need a follower who can lead.A human being with a sense of humor who can easily gel and get along with my team of specialists that are scattered in multiple states.Have the confidence to tell the owner when off-base, off-course, or not staying focused on what's important. I cannot mince words; I have to be comfortable giving to the owner straight.Self-correct when you get out over your skis and overreach.Come clean immediately when you make mistakes, and have a plan to fix them.What Is Not Needed We are not training anyone to learn this role. You must bring skills that the owner needs, be able to deploy them and make yourself valuable from day 1. We will help you fit in and learn the owner, but you have to bring it up and keep up.Marketing, social media, and SEO support. If you are good at marketing, social media, and web stuff, all is well, but if that is your only skill set, please don't apply.HR. I'm not looking for an HR person either, but it's useful if you have some skills and basic knowledge that would be useful to the owner.
