Delivery Driver/Courier

Job description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with deliveries and must possess their own vehicle, as well as a valid driver's license. This position will require you to load and unload packages, drive set routes, and work in a warehouse environment. Drivers are responsible for their own gas. The driver's day ends depending on their own productivity. Responsibilities: Drive your own vehicle to transport packages to their destination Deliver 80 - 120 packages in an 8 hour day. Stops 2-3 mins apart. Load and unload packages from the vehicle Plan and follow set routes to ensure timely delivery of packages - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using smart device Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws Be willing to work in all weather conditions Be willing to work 7 days during peak season Bring a great attitude and a strong work ethic Expectation is routes are 99.5% delivered . (Unfinished route = last day of work) 100% of deliveries completed with scanning device. No manual deliveries. Correct your own mistakes (Go back to delivery addresses if necessary) Skills: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Own vehicle insurance is a must Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent time management skills Strong communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to provide your own vehicle and pay for your own gas Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $500.00 - $1,200.00 per week Shift: Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Work Days: Every weekend Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Weekends only Work Location: On the road
