Estate Planning Attorney Of Counsel (Contract | Florida Licensed)

We are seeking a Florida-licensed Estate Planning and Probate Attorney to join our firm in an Of Counsel capacity on a contract basis. This role focuses on estate planning, probate administration, and related legal matters while supporting our legal team and clients. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. The attorney will maintain professional independence while collaborating with our team on client matters. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys estate planning, elder law, and probate work and is comfortable managing cases with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Conduct estate planning consultations with clientsReview estate planning strategies and legal summariesReview drafted legal documents for accuracy, compliance, and completenessProvide legal guidance to paralegals and client service staffAttend client signing appointments when necessaryManage assigned estate planning and probate mattersEnsure compliance with Florida Bar rules and ethical obligationsDeliver clear legal guidance and maintain strong client relationshipsRequired QualificationsActive Florida Bar licenseMinimum 3+ years of experience in estate planning or probate lawAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and client-facing skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizationReliable professional judgment and case management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience inelder law or Medicaid planningFamiliarity with Medicaid applications or hearingsSpanish language skills (helpful but not required)Compensation StructureFlat fee per legal matterTypical workload averages 1225 hours per week depending on case volumeEstimated equivalent compensation: $100$135 per hourCompensation may vary based on experience10% origination bonus for new matters brought to the firm and retainedIndependent Contractor NoticeThis position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role.
