Full benefits, PTO, and paid holidays is inclusive to this position.Number of Available Positions: 1Salary Target: $90K-$110K/YR (Salary is flexible based on the relevant years of professional experience and background related to the position)Requirements: ship or Work Status Authorization; Completed Bachelor’s Degree; 5+ years of relevant professional HR experienceJob Description:The Contractor Human Resources Business Consultant is responsible for administering all human resources functions including benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and training for the districts and departments in an assigned geography; partners with other functional HR groups to complete special projects such as compliance audits, diversity recruitment, and employee development programs. The location of this position is contingent upon the assignment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Administers all Human Resources programs, policies, and procedures in an assigned geographyCollaborates with Talent Acquisition to develop and implement the staffing planRecruits, screens, participates in interviewing, and on-boards new employeesAdvises managers and employees on compliance matters such as equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, sexual harassment, and discriminationConsults with management regarding the consistent and appropriate application of Company policies and proceduresAdministers benefits programs including open enrollment, mid-term enrollments, leaves, and workers’ compensationProvides training to managers for the annual performance management processCoaches managers regarding compensation planning, talent development, and succession planningInvestigates and resolves employee relations issues for both bargaining and non-bargaining unit employeesCounsels employees regarding career paths and promotional opportunities within the CompanyCoordinates training and development programsResponsible for maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality in all aspects of job performanceParticipates in and supports the Company’s Continuous Improvement program and projectsPerforms other similar duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field and/or equivalent relevant experienceFive years of experience working as a Human Resources Representative, Business Partner, or Manager in the public sectorSPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferredMust be professional, discrete, and able to handle multiple prioritiesKnowledge of Human Resources principles and practicesKnowledge of federal and state labor and employment lawsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsValid State Driver License
