Procurement Specialist
Our client, a growing single source supplier and solutions provider, is looking for a dynamic Procurement Specialist to join their team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver high-quality results.The Procurement Specialist will oversee new product requests, support ad hoc sourcing needs, and lead cost-saving initiatives across a variety of product categories. This role works closely with both new and existing suppliers to identify sourcing opportunities that improve product functionality, reduce costs, and enhance lead times.Job Title: Procurement SpecialistLocation: Chandler, AZPay Range: $75,000-$85,000What is the Job:• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives for products and suppliers to support open inquiries• Partner with sales teams to answer technical product questions and recommend solutions for customers• Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer requests to deliver a strong service experience• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers• Identify cost-saving opportunities while expanding product offerings and increasing customer value• Conduct market research and spend analysis to improve supplier performance and reduce costs• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective outcomes• Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and maximize opportunities• Manage tender processes and lead contract negotiations• Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment to achieve company goals• Develop a strong understanding of products, suppliers, competitive landscape, and customer applicationsWhat is Needed:• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or 2+ years of relevant experience• Background in sourcing or supply chain preferred• Experience evaluating, negotiating, and selecting suppliers• Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities• Ability to learn and understand technical product information• Strong negotiation and decision-making skills• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP ERP experience is a strong plus• Proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to think strategically• Strong team player with a collaborative approach• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively• Experience with industrial supplies, MRO, critical spares, or electrical components is a major advantageWhat’s in it for me?• Direct hire opportunity• Growth potential within an expanding organization• Competitive compensation and benefits package• Opportunity to make a real impact on both customers and the businessIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
