Administrative Specialist I

One Federal Solution has an opening for an Administrative Specialist I supporting a federal government client. The Administrative Specialist I will work closely with management and staff to provide administrative, program, and office operations support. This is an on-site role and the individual will be a key contributor to the day-to-day effectiveness of the office.Administrative Specialist I DutiesPerforms administrative management functions in support of office, project, and program operationsReviews, interprets, and applies administrative policies and proceduresDevelops, maintains, and supports administrative systems and processesComposes correspondence for signature, routes documents for action, and follows up to ensure timely completionGreets visitors and answers, directs, and follows up on incoming calls as appropriateReviews outgoing correspondence for compliance with established policies and organizational proceduresAssembles and compiles information for reports, responses to inquiries, and routine correspondenceEnsures documents are accurate, properly formatted, complete, and submitted in a timely mannerOversees preparation of meeting minutes, presentations, reports, and the filing of project documentationUtilizes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access to prepare charts, spreadsheets, presentations, and reportsCollects, tracks, and analyzes administrative and program-related dataCoordinates with internal staff and management to support workflow, work distribution, and administrative operationsAssists with procurement activities including preparation of purchase requests, review of purchase orders, and tracking of supplies and non-expendable propertySupports property management activities including inventory tracking and reportingProvides administrative and program support to ensure compliance with financial and procurement proceduresProvides accurate and timely status updatesPerforms other duties as assignedAdministrative Specialist I RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredActive Secret ClearanceTwo (2) years or more of relevant administrative or office support experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to analyze information and apply administrative policies and proceduresIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with program management or financial management is desirableExperience using automated or program management systems is desirableAbout One Federal SolutionOne Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative Professional Services provider with over 20 years of experience supporting Defense and Civilian agencies.
