Sr. IT System Engineer (Contractor to Hire)

OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT System Engineer to support our routine business.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS systems (hardware, software, and peripherals)Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and related servicesOversee user account management, device setup, and endpoint securityImplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutionsEnsure system and network security compliance, including patching and updatesCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure IT systems align with business needsMaintain IT documentation, including configurations, policies, and proceduresProvide remote and onsite IT support to employees as neededRequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical supportStrong expertise in Windows and macOS environmentsWorking knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)Understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewallsExperience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administrationAbility to communicate fluently in Mandarin and EnglishExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience with NetSuite or Shopify administration and integrationKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud)Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions such as IntuneBasic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA, etc.)Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environmentsBenefitsOPPO is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
