Lead Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Lead architectural design and integration of applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with business and technology roadmaps Provide advanced Level 3 technical support and serve as primary escalation contact for complex application issues and critical incidents Oversee day-to-day application operations, incident management, and service delivery activities, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) Establish and enforce development standards, architectural design review, and coding best practices to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality for system updates and releases Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying technical debt and process inefficiencies, developing and executing remediation plans Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, engineers, and support analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and professional developmentWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience Proven experience supporting government agencies or public sector entities Minimum 10 years of demonstrated expertise in .NET application development and enterprise integration with experience performing in a technical lead role Experience working with low-code application platforms, preferably Appian Hands-on knowledge of integration architecture and patterns including API-led connectivity and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, with experience supporting solutions such as MuleSoft or similar technologies Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with experience resolving complex technical issues and driving root-cause analysis effortsWhat's On Offer Opportunity to lead technical design and integration Drive continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environmentApply via Haystack today!
