This position ensures compliance with organizational policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulations, while delivering high-quality service to Schoolcraft students experiencing food insecurity. This position will oversee inventory control, volunteer engagement, and work with the Hinkle Student Resources team to conduct outreach initiatives to support program sustainability.Please note: This is a grant-funded position with a three (3) year term.Schoolcraft is a comprehensive, open-door, community-based college. The mission of the College is to provide a transformational learning experience designed to increase the capacity of individuals and groups to achieve intellectual, social, and economic goals.Required QualificationsAssociate degree (or higher) in business, social services, food services, or a related field.At least one (1) year of experience working in nonprofit, grant processing, social services, or food distribution.ServSafe for Food Pantries Certification (or willingness to secure within 90 days of hire).Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a physically active environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, social services, food services, or a related field.Experience working in a Food Pantry environment.Experience working with grant funding.Experience coordinating volunteers.Physical DemandsSchoolcraft College is an AA/EEO Employer.In-Person: This position requires the employee to be onsite at Schoolcraft College.Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
