The Carpenter Assistant will support carpentry projects, assist in construction tasks, and ensure the worksite is organized and safe. Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, helping with framing, and contributing to finish carpentry tasks as directed by the lead carpenter. The role involves physical tasks, precise measurements, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure project efficiency and quality. Qualifications Proficiency in Carpentry, including Finish Carpentry and Framing tasksExperience and competency in using Hand Tools and Power ToolsAbility to follow directions, prioritize safety, and work collaboratively in a team environmentPhysical stamina and the ability to perform labor-intensive tasksBasic math skills and attention to detail for accurate measurementsPrior experience in construction or a related field is beneficial
