Warehouse Receiving Supervisor- Warehouse & Distribution- Full-Time

About The RoleThe Warehouse/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for training and supervising team members in accordance with all organizational standards, policies and procedures as well as that of the Warehouse/Receiving Department.Position ResponsibilitiesReceives, inspects, weighs and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and conditionEnsures strict adherence to product specifications when receiving goodsCompletes appropriate receiving documentationUses proper storage techniques to include proper rotation, dating and slotting of productFills orders and issues supplies promptly upon receipt of approved requisitionDelivers materials to user Department. Verifies correctness of order with receiving user Department and obtains authorized signature on appropriate receiving recordPrepares and maintains reports and records as requiredResponds to Purchasing's and user Department's requests for returning products to vendors for repairs, credit, exchange, and any other reasonsParticipates in assigned inventories. Conducts periodic cycle counts, pre-counts and works closely with Purchasing to ensure that established inventory levels and procedures are maintainedRecommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, improved service and lower costsEnsures that storage facilities are kept clean, orderly, safe and secure at all timesMaintain temperature logs and report irregularities to proper authorityConducts self always in a professional manner and encourages others to do the sameComplies with company internal controls, policies, procedures and regulationsFosters open communication with all DepartmentsApprove daily payroll when needed. Essential FunctionsHigh degrees of mobility and ability to effectively communicate by way of 2-way radio or pager systemPhysical ability and skill to use normal tools and equipment associated with the tradeExposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hoursMust be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 poundsRequirementsMinimum five year's receiving/warehouse experienceAbility to operate forklift and pallet jack and obtain property company sponsored certificationRequired to perform work in varying temperatures to include deep freezersAble to work with a wide variety of products without negative allergic consequencesAbility to effectively communicate in EnglishMinimum High School/GED requiredStrong understanding of Stratton Warren inventory purchasing systemGood understanding of purchasing inventory need to supply the best needs of the companyFood and Beverage product knowledge is a plusPhysical Inventory counting experience is a plusBenefitsFree meal on shiftTraining & DevelopmentFree ParkingHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k,)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time OffOur cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $53,500-69,600 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
