Creative DirectorThe Creative Director position is integral to shaping Alliant's brand, its creative services practice, and Alliant's broader marketing organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leadership role oversees the creative visioning, strategic positioning, and effective execution of marketing campaigns and creative assets that elevate Alliant's brand and deliver on business and product objectives. This position manages a team of seasoned designers and writers, along with third-party service providers and partners who function as an extension of the in-house team. They interface with peers within and outside of marketing, and partner with internal leaders and stakeholders across Product, Communications, Compliance, Legal, Digital, Member Experience, among other areas. They also serve as relationship manager to agencies and partners in delivering high-quality, on-brand creative solutions across channels.Essential Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the work completed by Alliant's creative team, maintaining the highest quality standards in design, branding, and campaign delivery effectivenessAct as an ambassador and thought-leader in the design process at Alliant, inspiring creative excellence and innovative solutions that drive our go-to-market strategiesLiaison with marketing leaders and business sponsors to understand top-of-the-house business objectives to ensure the creative team delivers valueOversee, art direct, refine and produce high-priority design deliverables, ensuring marketing and design assets and artifacts deliver on business objectives and product growth strategiesAccountable to establish an effective culture and camaraderie among creative, marketing, and partner teams within and outside of AlliantEvaluate, engage, and manage the relationship with a select group of third-party partners, including marketing and design agencies, suppliers, design associations, suppliers, software suppliers, among othersChampion high-quality brand and design solutions and experiences, influencing the work prioritized across key business segments (such as Consumer Deposits, Consumer Lending, Residential Lending) and centers of excellence (Partnership, Digital, HR, Operations)Define the creative team's OKRs connecting them directly to Alliant's corporate strategy and top-of-the-house business priorities, including reporting results to leadership with insights that decision-makingDevelop, refine, and ensure adherence to Alliant's brand and visual identity system, ensuring quality delivery and consistency across campaigns and channelsLead the adoption of novel and innovative creative methodologies and approaches, leveraging new design practices, toolsets, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and team member skillsetsPlan, direct and lead the work of the team to meet functional and individual operational objectives and goals. Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Responsible for hire, fire, performance, discipline and problem resolution decisionsEducation & Experience:Minimum - 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or relatedMinimum - 10 Years of Consultancies, design agencies, or similar in-house corporate environment or relatedMinimum - 5 Years of People managementExpert knowledge in design software and toolsets (Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite)Knowledge of new toolsets and workflows that drive design and production efficiencies (e.g., Figma AI, Midjourney, Lumen5, Sora) is highly preferredCompensation & Benefits:Typical hiring range: $149,700.00 to $256,700.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
