Assistant Events Manager

Nestled on a sprawling 325-acre wooded campus, our facilities boast the renowned Hard Truth distillery and rackhouse, an expansive restaurant, a state-of-the-art tours and tastings center, and a sprawling terraced outdoor recreational area.As a Private Events Manager at Hard Truth, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings to weddings, conferences, and special celebrations. You will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of event management, ensuring seamless operations, and exceeding our clients' expectations.Private Events Manager Key Responsibilities Take the lead in conceptualizing, planning, and organizing public and private events, ensuring all details are meticulously managed to meet client objectives. Responsible for generating revenue and entrusted with the mission of enhancing sales. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships and effectively communicating throughout the event planning process. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary resources and ensure the successful execution of events. Develop and maintain event budgets, monitoring expenditures, and finding cost-effective solutions to meet financial goals. Lead and manage event staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional guest service. Oversee event set-up and tear-down, ensuring all elements are in place and adhering to timelines. Maintain high standards of guest service, continuously improving event quality, and identifying areas for enhancement. Provide regular reports on event performance, including budget adherence, guest feedback, and areas for improvement. Perform additional tasks as necessary on an ad hoc basis. Weekend availability required. Private Events Manager Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of proven experience in event management with a strong portfolio of successful events. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to manage events as needed. A passion for creativity and attention to detail.
