For over 30 years, the organization has focused on delivering personalized care that gives families peace of mind and supports aging in place.Role Description The Scheduling Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Norwood, MA. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and managing schedules for Care Professionals to ensure client care needs are met efficiently and consistently. Day-to-day tasks include matching Care Professionals with clients based on skills, preferences, and availability, confirming visits, and adjusting schedules in response to changes or urgent needs. The Scheduling Coordinator communicates regularly with Care Professionals, clients, and office staff to resolve scheduling conflicts, maintain accurate records, and support continuity of care. This position also assists with tracking attendance, monitoring service delivery, and supporting office operations to help ensure a smooth and reliable care experience.Qualifications Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules and shifting priorities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with Care Professionals, clients, families, and internal teams.Proficiency with scheduling software, databases, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, electronic records).Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for resolving scheduling conflicts and maintaining accurate documentation.Customer service mindset with a compassionate, patient, and professional approach to supporting older adults and their families.Ability to work on-site full-time in Norwood, MA, including occasional flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.Experience in home care, healthcare, or a service-oriented environment is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration, social services, or related fields is a plus.
