About Us: The Bridge Learning Community is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to enhancing early childhood development through play-based programs. We aim to create a nurturing environment that supports children and families while fostering strong community connections. Our spaces are shared between scheduled programming and member use, and we are community, member, and volunteer-led.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Program Manager to oversee our new early childhood program. This part-time role requires a background in nonprofit or educational management, with a preference for early childhood experience. The Program Manager will handle program recruitment, manage enrollment, and evaluate program effectiveness, reporting directly to our board.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Marketing: Develop strategies to recruit families and market our program. Create promotional materials and engage with community members to increase participation.
Manage Enrollment Processes: Oversee the enrollment process, including documentation, applications, and record-keeping.
Family Membership Program: Administer the family membership program, ensuring access to resources and addressing member inquiries.
Communication: Act as the main contact for members and partners, building strong relationships to support program success.
Supervise Early Childhood Educator: Support and supervise the Early Childhood Educator to align with program goals and ensure effective classroom activities.
Program Evaluation: Assess program effectiveness regularly and use data to make recommendations for improvements.
Data Management: Maintain program data, including enrollment, attendance, and feedback, to inform decision-making and enhancements.
Grant Communication: Provide updates to grant funders and prepare necessary reports.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in nonprofit management, social services, or educational management. Early childhood experience is a plus but not required.
Skills: Strong organizational and project management abilities, excellent communication, proficiency in data management, and creative problem-solving.
Personal Attributes: Passionate about early childhood development, innovative, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
