As a member of our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the local community in a variety of settings, including educational, medical, social services, and more.ResponsibilitiesTravel to local client sites, within the Sussex County, Delaware areaProvide Spanish-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and moreProvide superior customer serviceAdhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentialityAdhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practicesQualifications/ExperienceFull fluency in both English and SpanishDaytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM)Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10 hours a weekAccess to reliable transportation1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not requiredIndustry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not requiredCandidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse RegistryMust have reliable phone service for contactMust be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job inputBy submitting my application, I certify that the information I have provided in this application is true and complete.
