The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of DOT and FMCSA requirements, combined with a proactive mindset to innovate, streamline, and simplify compliance processes. This role reports directly to the Director of Safety & Compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and maintain Driver Qualification Files for CDL and non-CDL drivers, ensuring all required documents and endorsements are accurate, valid, and up to date. Manage compliance activities, including annual Clearinghouse queries, random drug screenings, DOT verifications, and MVR monitoring. Monitor and review drivers’ Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure adherence to regulations. Provide guidance and coaching to drivers on safe driving practices and compliance with procedures. Coordinate closely with operations to ensure alignment of routine activities Partner closely with the Truck Shop or Truck Lease Vendor(s) to address OOS/Unsafe deficiencies Conduct regular audits to verify all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant. Manage IFTA & IRP submission requirements Assist with integration efforts during acquisitions to maintain compliance standards. Stay current on changes in DOT regulations and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance. Review DOT documentation for accuracy and validity during the onboarding process and assist with pre-employment screenings as needed. Perform other tasks as assigned to support the Safety & Compliance team. Compensation details: Yearly Salary PI2ebded72ded
