The position may be filled at either the Senior BIM Technician or VDC Specialist level, depending on experience, technical authority, and demonstrated leadershipRole SummaryThis role supports the owner's long‐term stewardship of building and infrastructure information by ensuring BIM and CAD deliverables received from external architects, engineers, and contractors are accurate, standardized, compliant, and reusable.This is not a design production role. Required Qualifications (All Levels)5+ years of experience with Revit and AutoCADExperience supporting construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facilities environmentsDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or CAD, or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD requirements, and owner BIM/CAD standardsExperience working with deliverables received from external consultants or contractorsExperience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / FormaStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a structured, standards‐driven environment Preferred SkillsDynamo, PyRevit, automation or scriptingNavisworks, Civil 3DACC/BIM 360 project setup, bridging, and issue trackingExperience with legacy drawings and long‐lifecycle assetsFamiliarity with record, closeout, or facilities deliverables Key ResponsibilitiesAudit BIM and CAD deliverables received from external A/E and contractor teamsUpgrade and standardize models and drawings to align with current owner standardsIntegrate discipline‐specific content into owner Master ModelsTroubleshoot technical BIM/CAD issues, develop practical solutions, and document resolutions for inclusion in team procedures and the departmental manualMaintain and update centralized drawing and model librariesSupport internal stakeholders by fulfilling drawing and model requestsAnalyze legacy CAD files and map older standards to current standardsTrack work status and contribute to operational metrics and KPIsParticipate in coordination, progress, and status meetingsContribute to templates, documentation, and workflow improvements
